MONTPELIER — The Legislature will choose the next leader of the Vermont National Guard later this month.
The newly-appointed senior uniformed officer will shepherd the Guard through the arrival of the F-35 jets, a possible brigade-wide deployment and increased scrutiny on the Guard’s handling of sexual harassment.
Four candidates are seeking the top job: Col. Greg Knight, who is on active duty service with the Vermont Army National Guard, and three retired officers, Brig. Gen. Dave Baczewski, Lt. Col. David Graham and Col. Rosanne Greco.
