Retired Col. Roseanne Greco raises health and environmental concerns about the F-35 fighter jets stationed at Truax Field, based on a 2012 Air Force Environmental Impact Study. The study indicates that F-35 noise vibrations can cumulatively damage internal organs, particularly impacting children’s cognitive abilities. Defense analyst Pierre Spray warns of the toxic nature of F-35’s materials when burned and their harmful environmental effects. Greco suggests relocating F-35s to remote active-duty bases and emphasizes that U.S. senators can influence such decisions for Madison’s safety and well-being.
